By: Tor Lydon // @TorLydon

In Philadelphia, we take our Eagles games very seriously. It’s not just about watching- it’s about experiencing. Sure, it’s fun to tailgate and spend time at XFINITY Live! but there are also other unique options in our city to view the game at.

After much deliberation, GoBabl presents to you the official list of the best bars in Philly to watch the Eagles this Saturday…

Field House

Right across from the Reading Terminal, with over 35+ HGTVs, Field House is probably the most official venue in Center City to view the game. Their menu is a step above your typical pub food and happy hour cocktails are hard to beat. It becomes a very lively environment and gets pretty crowded, so make sure you arrive in a timely fashion to get good seats!

For this week’s game, they’ll be offering $4 Bud Light, Goose Island 312, & Victory Lagers as well as $10 pizzas.

Vesper Sporting Club

Since it’s opening in October of 2017 Vesper has quickly become Philadelphia’s hottest nightlife spot for millennials. What sets them apart from other sports bars is their live energy and consistently curated party atmosphere. This Saturday there will be a DJ playing before the game, during halftime, & afterward. You can book a table, sit at the bar, or cheer on the Eagles from the dance floor.
They’ll be offering a tailgate brunch of $25 from 11 am to 4 pm. Your flat rate payment includes bottomless mimosas, Labatt Blue, Bloody Marys, and/or champagne.
But get this– because you’re reading this article and a lover of GoBabl you are also receiving the link to their exclusive champagne list (you’re welcome) where the visiting ladies of Vesper score complimentary champagne from 1pm-4pm. Make sure you sign up with the link here.

Cavanaugh’s Restaurant & Sports Bar- University City

This one is for all the GoBabl college followers- or those still reliving their glory days. (No judging here.) Cavanaugh’s in University City is the college bar for Eagle’s games. You’ll be surrounded by people your own age, maybe run into an old fling, all while enjoying screaming out the fight song and cheering on your team.
Every Saturday they make it very easy to get your drink on- offering Bacardi flavors, $5 singles/ $9 doubles, Bacardi Buckets for $12, & Rolling Rock cans for $2.50.

Crabby’s Cafe & Sports Bar

Located in Schmidt’s Commons, also known as the beloved Piazza, in the heart of Northern Liberties, Crabby’s has TVs covering every wall not allowing you to miss a second of the game. With the pleasing forecast for tomorrow, you’ll have the option to sit outside at their picnic tables and watch it from the jumbotron. Their A+ game day special menu includes everything from wing buckets with a variety of flavors to cheesesteak egg rolls. It’s the local watering hole where regulars bring their dogs, neighbors down buckets of beer, & the atmosphere entices everyone to stand and cheer for their home team.
This Saturday exclusively they’re offering a VIP 2 Hour Premium Open Bar Tailgate package from 2 pm to 4 pm. It’s $20 presale & $30 at the door. During the game special’s will be the same as usual- $11 Coronita Buckets & $6 Espolon.

Misconduct Tavern

If you’re looking for a ‘chiller’ Eagle’s experience Misconduct Tavern, either in Rittenhouse or Logan Square, are for you. With large bar seating, wide menu variety, and large 50+ beer bottle selection this is the place to come with friends, colleagues, or family. They don’t have game day specials, but they make up for that in energy, great service, and all age-friendly environment.
