Marketer’s Guide to Labor Day Engagement in Philadelphia – Made in America Edition

And just like that it appears the summer’s come to an end. 


But fret not! There’s still time to take advantage of opportunities to engage and activate your target consumers. 

For those not at that shore this upcoming holiday, our GoBabl home base of Philadelphia takes the Labor Day weekend quite seriously. 

In fact lauded local event aggregator Uwishunu published “22 Excellent Things to do in Philly, This Week August 28-September 4.” 

Local bars and restaurants, such as Aqimero at the Ritz Carlton or Max Brenner, could capitalize and geo-fence their establishments to garner consumer activity and bolster brand awareness during the final  Center City SIPS of the year that took place this week.

The wonderful folks over at Visit Philly curated a “Complete Guide to Labor Day Weekend In Philadelphia 2017.” There’s First Friday in Old City and of fireworks near Penn’s Landing, but the biggest event to hit the city this holiday weekend is Jay-Z’s sixth annual Budweiser Made In America Music Festival happening on Benjamin Franklin Parkway this coming Saturday and Sunday.

With countless mega musical artists, attractions, brands, and of course over 100,000 attendees, this event poses myriad use cases for a social monitoring and engagement geo-targeting tool, such as GoBabl. 

Festival Applications: 

  • Awareness insights for brands and artists, whether Budweiser or The Chainsmokers
  • Event management social monitoring surrounding festival logistics and attendee satisfaction – food vendors, public restrooms, etc.
